I am the Director of Research and Development at SAFE Boats International where I am responsible for driving innovation and change throughout the company.
I have spent the last 20 years in the marine industry as an engineer, project and program manager, foreman, supervisor, manager and director. Throughout this time, I have pondered why things go awry even though I am surrounded by great people working hard at what they do. I have come to the following conclusions; that it is the processes people work under that fail, not the people, and that the corporate belief (culture) drives our actions as a whole. My greatest passion is to make that connection with someone and watch it “click,” that moment when it hits you that there is a path forward. People are looking for growth, for purpose and for fulfillment and I love to help guide them through that journey from follower to passionate leader.
