Director of Youth, Family Peace Association
Yoshi Goto is currently the Director of Youth at Family Peace Association, an international peace organization that pursues peace through family-centered values and universal principles. He is also Board Secretary at SoundBio Lab, Seattle's Biology Makerspace, and was previously the Director of Operations. As a volunteer, he also is a North American Ambassador for the iGEM Foundation, which runs a premiere international synthetic biology student competition. He also is the assistant fair director for the Central Sound Regional Science and Engineering Fair, an ISEF-affiliated fair for high school students in King and Snohomish Counties. Yoshi received a Bachelors of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Washington in 2018. With interdisciplinary experiences and networks in fields ranging from nonprofit management, youth leadership and mentoring, cutting-edge biotechnology and entrepreneurship, Yoshi brings unique approaches to customer experience and engagement that seek to bring lessons from disparate sectors of society. His focuses are on 21st century biotech education, youth empowerment + leadership, and nonprofit management and strategy. |
